The oscars came and went, and many big brands were 'lazer-eyed' on maximizing on the second biggest TV event on American TV (second to the Superbowl) Although ratings were at an 9 year low there were a few fascinating events.
(1) Cost
This year, brands paid up to $2.1 million for a 30-second spot during the film industry's biggest annual event,
(2) The Best Picture Award was mistakenly announced.
(3) Trump was watching...
The New York Times stands as one of the most prominent among a number of media outlets that have been directly named by Trump and other administration spokespeople as purveyors of fake news or media that are otherwise untrustworthy. That Ad wasn't that bad, was it?
